How Do You Steer a Hot Air Balloon?
The hot air balloon goes where the wind takes it. However, the winds at varying altitudes may blow in different directions and at different speeds, so the trick is to climb or descend to an altitude where the wind is blowing in the direction you want to go.
How big are hot air balloons?
The typical sport balloons range in size from 65,000 to 105,000 cubic feet in volume and stand about 70 feet tall. To really get an understanding, let us take you for a ride!
Can I take pictures?
Yes, we encourage you to take as many photos as you like during you hot air balloon ride.
Should I wear anything specific?
We highly recommend close-toe shoes and to dress for the weather (layers). It can get hot under the burners so wearing long sleeves is recommended.
When we land how do we get back?
A chase crew will follow us during the flight and drive passengers back to their cars at the original meeting location.

Is it customary to TIP the balloon crew?
That is entirely up to you. Just like any customer service focused business, if you feel a TIP is warranted we will appreciate it.
