Meet your pilot
Art Möller
An FAA-certified pilot with over 20 years of hot-air-balloon flying experience.
At sixteen, Art saw his first hot air balloon while working a summer landscaping job in his home state of Texas. Watching it drift effortlessly overhead, he was captivated by its quiet grace and sense of freedom. He thought, “Now that would be a much better job.” That moment planted a seed that would shape his life.
In 1997, while walking through Albuquerque’s Balloon Fiesta Field, Art was approached by a local pilot who asked if he’d lend a hand. One week on the crew was all it took—Art was hooked. Drawn to the energy, teamwork, and wonder of ballooning, he soon became a crew chief for a local ride company.
Today, Art shares his love of flight with passengers from around the world. He’s piloted balloons across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Eastern Europe, bringing humor, heart, and a sense of wonder to every adventure. For Art, a flight is a chance to disconnect from the ground and reconnect with the world above.
